The Boston City Council’s Committee on Government Operations will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 10:30 AM.  The hearing will be held in the Christopher A. Iannella Chamber on the Fifth Floor of Boston City Hall.  The subject of the hearing is:

 

Docket #1143, “AN Act Providing for Designated Licenses for the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages and Wine and Malt Beverages at Logan International Airport Granted by the Licensing Board for the City of Boston”

 

This matter was communicated by the Mayor and was referred to the Committee on Government Operations on Wednesday, August 25, 2010.

       CSCV Alzheimer’s & Dementia Program

Dorchester, MA, August 2, 2010:  We at CSCV would like to invite the Community of Boston to join us in celebrating our Grand Opening. Our new Alzheimer’s & Dementia Program will provide full day services to elders in our community, and will help them achieve wellness and cognitive improvement.

 

CSCV has been in business for the past 4 years providing adult day health services for our elders citywide. We take pride in our work and have been commended for our tireless efforts in servicing the elderly population. We have received raving reviews from local Community Health Centers, Elder Advocacy Groups, Community Agencies, Senior Health Plans and Aging Service Access Points (ASAP).

 

CSCV is a state of the art facility that is handicapped accessible and meets all of our elders’ needs.

 

The Alzheimer’s & Dementia program will provide essential services that are carried out in conjunction with physician’s orders, and under the guidelines of the state, and The Alzheimer’s Association. This fully inclusive adult day health program will be executed by trained and licensed healthcare professionals, and will be specially designed to meet the needs of Alzheimer’s & Dementia sufferers.

 

We strive for customer satisfaction and we make sure that our clients are delighted with the services rendered at our facility.

 

With a multitude of services and activities, our 6 hour day program provides clients with a chance to have their medical and social needs met all at once, in a safe and caring environment.

 

Services Include:

Assistance with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, grooming, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy speech therapy, case management, social services, meals, nutritional/ dietary services, transportation, counseling, and more!

 

Activities Include:

Arts& Crafts, Sewing, Music & Dance Therapy, Movies & Television, Community Projects, Exercise, Table & Card Games, Field Trips, Reminiscence, Story Telling, and much more!!!
