                                               Northeastern Task Force Meeting

 

Reminder:    The Northeastern Task Force will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, December 8, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  at The Fenway Center (Former St. Ann’s Church), 77 St. Stephen Street.  The building is #71 on this map:   http://www.northeastern.edu/campusmap/map/qad2.html   

 

The draft agenda is as follows:

 

• Updates and discussion on proposed extension/renewal of the Institutional Master Plan (IMP) and proposed IMP Amendment to lease and occupy property at 140 The Fenway, 177 Huntington Avenue, and 316 Huntington Avenue
• Updates on Northeastern’s arrangement with Phoenix to construct a 720-bed dormitory on Huntington Avenue and St. Botolph Street
• Preliminary presentation on dormitory building program
• Discussion of proposed IMP Amendment to construct dormitory
• Next steps

 

Comments on the IMPNF for Renewal and Extension, and on the IMPNF for the Fourth Amendment (leasing) are due Monday, December 13 and we are scheduled to present these items to the BRA Board for a vote on Tuesday, December 14.

 

Comments on the IMPNF for the Fifth Amendment (dormitory) are also due Monday, December 13, but no vote will be taken on December 13.  Rather, these comments will be incorporated into the Scoping Determination.  Northeastern will then respond to the Scoping Determination when they file their proposed Amendment and there will be an additional review and comment period on the proposed Amendment.
