The Antidote For The Apathetic
Chuck Turner Supporters will be rallying tomorrow (October 30,
Saturday) at 3pm outside Chuck's District 7 Office.
Standing With Chuck
Saturday, 10/30
3pm
Outside District 7 Office - Dudley Square
51 Roxbury St.
All supporters of Councilor Turner are asked to come down to express your outrage at this miscarriage of justice and stand in solidarity with Roxbury's generational hero. Councilor Turner remains upbeat and encourages his supporters to recognize that he has been targeted because of the progress and power of our movement.
The sentencing hearing will take place on January 25, 2011. We will be demanding that Chuck remains in office at least until the sentencing hearing, and that the judge opt against any incarceration in his sentencing.
We will be asking supporters to write letters of support to the judge.
Please stay tuned for ongoing action.
The People Will Not Be Silent!
------------------------------------------------------------
-- THE END --
OR, IS IT JUST THE BEGINNING? YOU DECIDE!
( Stay tuned, as the struggle continues. )
